    This is Leasowes Park!!! Fantastic mixed woodland with lovely ponds and plenty of wildlife. Something different to see every day without many people around! Many of the walks are steep with fine views, especially at sunset.

    A ferme ornee landscape laid out in 1740s and 1750s by William Shenstone which was a potent influence on the style of landscape gardening then and in the later C18.

    The Leasowes Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) is located in Dudley in the West Midlands, and is notified on 7 February 2019 for its nationally important assemblage of grassland fungi and species-rich neutral grasslands.

Lapal Canal Trust

The Lapal Canal Trust was formed in 1990 by canal and environment enthusiasts to protect the route of the Dudley No. 2 Canal and to champion the restoration.
